Sterling Silver hand fabricated Kachina – the Zuni Shalako. “The Zuni Shalako represents the messengers of the gods for the Zuni Pueblo in NW New Mexico. The Zuni Indians perform the seasonal Shalako ceremony as a rite that assures the transformation of winter’s death into spring’s rebirth.” Stands approximately 5 1/8 inches tall standing on base is 1 7/8 inches all around. Stamped “Jeffrey Castillo sterling” on the bottom of the base, along with “Zuni Shalako”.
