Sterling Silver hand fabricated Kachina – the Deer. “The Deer Kachina is a revered Hopi spirit figure that dances to ensure, through prayer and ceremony, an abundance of game, moisture for crops, and the growth of vegetation. Typically depicted with antlers and holding sticks in each hand to represent the front legs of a deer, this kachina is a symbol of sustenance, fertility, and peace.” Stands approximately 4 3/4 inches tall and base measures is 1 7/8 inches all around. Stamped “Jeffrey Castillo sterling” on the bottom of the base, along with “Deer”.
