Hopi Silent Warrior Kachina carved from wood and embellished with sticks, leather, fibers, strings, and feathers. “The Silent Warrior Kachina” refers to the Nakiachop or Shalako Warrior kachina of the Hopi people, known for performing extremely dangerous feats like the Ladder Dance. Despite the “silent” name, it is sometimes described as making a mournful sound and represents bravery.” Measures 1 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide, and 4 1/4 inches tall. Signed on bottom of base “Hopi Silent Warrior” and “A.F. Leon”.
