Hopi Owl Kachina carved from wood and embellished with sticks, leather, fibers, strings, and feathers. “An Owl Kachina is a figure representing the owl spirit in Hopi and Navajo traditions, symbolizing wisdom, intelligence, and a good hunt. He is also a beneficial figure for agriculture because he helps destroy rodents that harm crops.” Measures 1 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide, and 4 1/2 inches tall. Signed on bottom of base “Hopi Owl” and “A.F. Leon”.
