SCARCE Limited Edition Hornby R2492 Double Tender LIVE STEAM LNER A3 Flying Scotsman. Near Mint Boxed

Description The OO Gauge Live Steam models listed are from my personal collection. You will find 6 pristine models on the site once they are all up (June 2026) This is the third one. Beautiful  model. Manufactured 03/06 (week 3 : 2006) Its near Mint and just as it should be with all its paperwork, accessories and a sealed bottle of oil. Very minor box wear. This one being number 82 of a production run limited to 1000. If they havent been run, or not run for a long time, they will need servicing and the OO Live Steam Club can do this for you They are just like the real thing in that they need to be propely lubricated and seals check etc and are DEFINiTELY not for children.. Now with this one we can tell its been lghtly run since manufacture as the wheels arent stiff and you can see slight marking on the drive wheels if you look closely. If you are familiar with these you might get away with a thorough check over or replacing the spares seals you can see to the top left of the engine All the tools, oil and gloves are untouched and the auxillary tender looks mint and unrun The only thing I have done is to wrap the engine and lender is fresh identical tissue and left the origanal in the box This will be delivered via Next Day Royal Mail Special Delivery on a pre-arranged day
