British Garden Songbirds

This is a giclee print of my original pen, ink and watercolour illustration of 18 species of British songbirds common to UK gardens. Growing up I got a lot of pleasure from watching and identifying birds in the garden, noticing how different species would visit depending on the season and getting to understand their behaviours simply by observing. So I’d wanted to draw some of the UK’s native birds for some time, and thought this would be the perfect way to celebrate their diversity, as well as serving as a fun identifier to help bird-lovers of any age or level of geekery determine one species from another. Printed onto beautifully textured 225gsm Somerset enhanced 100% cotton paper using professional pigment inks, this print is available in two sizes: A4 and A3, unframed or framed (black or white frames available).
